Lahore: Ahead of the general elections scheduled on February 8 in the country, the Election Smart Police app has been made fully operational by the Lahore Police.
DIG Operations Syed Nasir Ali Rizvi said that Election Smart App has been installed on the mobile phones of the personnel deployed on static duty.
He said that training has already been provided to all the personnel regarding Election Smart Police App, this app will be helpful in the peaceful conduct of general elections.
Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said that DIG operations and divisional office rooms will monitor the app in real time.
DIG Operations said that Lahore Police is determined to conduct peaceful elections, display of weapons and aerial firing will not be allowed in the city under any circumstances.
