Asmatullah Khattak died of a heart attack

Peshawar: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Constituency PK 91, the election was postponed due to the death of ANP candidate Asmatullah Khattak.

The returning officer will issue a formal declaration of cancellation of the election. According to Section 73 of the Election Act, the election is postponed after the death of the candidate after the issue of election symbols.

Due to the death of the candidate, the Returning Officer issues a new election schedule. 13 candidates including Asmatullah Khattak were contesting from PK91 Kohat and former senator Abbas Afridi is also a candidate from PK91.

ANP district president said that Asmatullah Khattak died of heart attack, he was an ANP aspirant from PK 91 Kohat.
