Domestic foreign exchange reserves increased for the first time after 7 months

According to the State Bank, domestic dollar reserves, which have been continuously decreasing for 7 months, have increased for the first time. According to the report, an increase of 260 million dollars was recorded in domestic foreign exchange reserves during one week. State Bank’s dollar deposits rose to $4.60 billion from the recent increase.

Officials say that the total financial volume of domestic foreign exchange reserves is 10.44 billion dollars. Apart from State Bank’s dollar deposits, banks have account holders’ deposits of $5.84 billion.

The report of the State Bank further states that the country’s foreign exchange reserves decreased by a total of 14 billion dollars in one year.
