Pakistan’s Gulfam Joseph and Kushmala Talat won the bronze medal in the Asian Shooting Championship and qualified for the mixed event at the Paris Olympics. For the first time, a shooting pair from Pakistan has qualified for the Olympics.
Pakistan won another medal in the ongoing Asian Shooting Championship in Jakarta. In the 10m air pistol mixed team event, Pakistan’s duo of Gulfam Joseph and Kushmala Talat won a bronze medal and also qualified for the mixed team event at the Paris Olympics.
This is the first time that a Pakistani shooting pair has qualified for the Paris Olympics.
Gulfam Joseph and Kushmala have already qualified for the Paris Olympics in individual events but now both the shooters will be seen in action in two events each at the Paris Olympics.
