A report has revealed that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) received money for the players from the national treasury.
Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has submitted a report on expenditure incurred in 5 years during the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) inquiry.
The report stated that more than 20 crores was paid by PSB to the winning team of 2017 Champions Trophy.
According to the report, in this way the money of PSB got to the cricketers instead of being spent on minor sports.
Earlier, PCB’s position in the Senate and National Assembly sessions was that it was not accountable to the government and never took money from the national treasury.
