Nominations for various categories of International Cricket Council (ICC) awards have been announced, in which no Pakistani is included.
New Zealand’s Mark Chapman, Uganda’s Elpesh Ramjani, Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza Butt and India’s Surya Kumar Yadav are among the nominees for the T20 Cricketer of the Year category at the ICC Awards.
Sri Lanka’s Chamari Atapattu, England’s Sophie Ecclestone, West Indies’ Hayley Mathews and Australia’s Ellyse Perry are candidates for the ICC Women’s T20 Cricketer of the Year.
The ICC Men’s Emerging Men’s Cricketer of the Year includes South Africa’s Gerald Coetzee, India’s Yashaswi Jaswal, Sri Lanka’s Dilshan Madhushanka and New Zealand’s Richan Ravindra.
The candidates for ICC Women Emerging Cricketer of the Year are Marufa Akhtar of Bangladesh, Lauren Bell of England, Darke Carter of Scotland and Phoebe Litchfield of Australia.
The cricketers who won the ICC awards will be announced later this month. The winners of the ICC Awards will be decided by voting.
