The invitation was organized by the Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese, in honor of the teams of Pakistan and Australia. Pakistan Cricket Board Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf and CEO Salman Naseer also attended. Officials of the Australian Cricket Board were also present at the event.
Former Test fast bowler of Australian cricket team Glenn McGrath and High Commissioner of Pakistan in Australia Zahid Hafeez also participated in the feast held in honor of the teams.
The Australian Prime Minister said in his address on the occasion that Pakistan played good cricket during the tour of Australia, especially in the Melbourne Test. Hope she will perform well in the Sydney Test as well.
Pakistan cricket team captain Shan Masood said on this occasion that both teams have played cricket in a positive manner in the Test series.
He said that such tours provide not only sports but also an opportunity to play the role of ambassador of the country.
