The camp of the national cricket team for the preparations for the tour of New Zealand has started in Lahore.
The players of the squad in Pakistan started practice in the 6-day camp under the supervision of Commandant Yasir Arafat.
Ahmed Shahzad, Kamran Ghulam and Mohammad Haris have also been invited to the camp of the national squad.
Abbas Afridi, Fakhar Zaman, Iftikhar Ahmed and Sahibzada Farhan participated in the 6-day camp in Lahore for the tour of New Zealand.
Azam Khan and other players in the squad will join the national training camp tomorrow.
Under the supervision of Camp Commandant Yasser Arafat and coaches, the players participated in batting, bowling and fielding practice.
Test cricketers Ahmed Shahzad, Kamran Ghulam and Mohammad Haris, who are not part of the T20 squad against New Zealand, were also invited to the camp.
Talking to the media, top order batsman Sahibzada Farhan said that he has been playing as an opener for 3 years but will perform for the team wherever he gets an opportunity.
