Islamabad: The Ministry of Health has confirmed the presence of polio virus in the sewage water of Quetta, the capital of Balochistan.
According to the announcement issued by the Ministry of Health, polio virus has been found in two samples of sewage water from Quetta.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Health says that the surveillance system of the polio program is working effectively, but the polio virus is coming out due to the migration of people.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Health says that a comprehensive strategy has been prepared for the displaced population.
Once again, the Ministry of Health has appealed to all parents to ensure that their children under five years of age are vaccinated against polio.
