The ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup schedule has been released, the event will be played in South Africa from January 19.
According to ICC, the Under-19 World Cup was to be held in Sri Lanka, but the event was shifted to South Africa after Sri Lanka’s membership was suspended.
The first match of the U-19 Cricket World Cup will be played on January 19, a total of 41 matches will be played in the event for which 5 venues have been selected.
The final match of the U-19 World Cup will be played on February 11. The warm-up matches of the event will be held from January 13 to 17.
Group A of U-19 World Cup includes India, Bangladesh, Ireland and USA. Teams from England, South Africa, West Indies and Scotland will face each other in Group B.
Group C will feature Australia, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Namibia while Pakistan is in Group D with Afghanistan, New Zealand and Nepal as part of this group.
Pakistan U-19 team will play against Afghanistan on January 20, Nepal on January 24 and New Zealand on January 27.
