Karachi: A big business family of the city has been exposed to blackmail and extortion of Rs 2 billion.
According to the sources, a big businessman of Karachi who passed away recently received an email from unknown persons demanding Rs. Threats were given.
An e-mail was sent to the family to recover more than 2 billion rupees, in which it was asked that the money be transferred to the bank account. The people related to the legal counsel of the family had given a written request to investigate the case in the past days. Which was converted into a regular inquiry on Wednesday evening.
In the next phase, a JIT will also be formed on this matter, in this regard, FIA Cybercrime Circle Karachi has been called to record the confessions of the family members.
It should be noted that a written complaint regarding the demand for heavy compensation from the plaintiff was received by FIA Cybercrime Islamabad after which the matter was handed over to FIA Cybercrime Karachi.
