Lahore: The Metrobus administration was also involved in electricity theft, on which the LESCO authorities imposed a fine.

One phase of the meter used by the administration was dead, LESCO had to suffer a loss of lakhs of rupees due to one phase of the meter being dead. 24,000 units have been charged to the metro bus administration in the name of detection bill.

Chief Executive LESCO Engineer Shahid Haider said that the anti-electricity theft campaign will continue without discrimination, no exception will be made in this regard.
