Karachi: Approval to increase the cost of electricity by three rupees per unit for industrial consumers

Karachi: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved to increase the cost of electricity by three rupees per unit for the industrial consumers of Karachi.

In the decision issued by Nepra, it is said that a hearing was held on the revision application related to the recovery from the industrial consumers of Karachi, after which Elekrak was allowed to recover Rs.3 per unit from the industrial consumers in 2 months. .

According to Nepra, the subsidy amount will be withdrawn from industrial consumers and will be implemented in two months.
