Peshawar: PTI’s former provincial minister Shaukat Yousafzai was barred from going to Dubai.
According to sources, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) took Shaukat Yousafzai into custody from Peshawar Airport. Shaukat Yousafzai was going abroad (Dubai) from Peshawar by private airline. Sources say that the process of questioning the PTI leader is going on.
Meanwhile, PTI leader and former provincial minister Shaukat Yousafzai has released a video statement, in which he said that he was stopped at Bacha Khan Airport. It is not known why and who has detained him.
He said that he was going to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah. Why was it stopped after getting the boarding pass and clearance? . My boarding pass has also been taken away. My name is neither in ECL nor there is any FIR against me. Shaukat Yousafzai said that he has always respected institutions in his politics.
