Islamabad: Accountability Court directed to record statement of Nawaz Sharif in Tosha Khana reference by November 30.
The reference hearing of Tosha Khana vehicles was held in the Accountability Court Islamabad, in which the lawyer Qazi Misbah advocated in front of Judge Muhammad Bashir in the application that Nawaz Sharif’s statement was not recorded during the investigation.
Lawyer Qazi Misbah advocate requested that the court direct NAB to record the statement of Nawaz Sharif. We want Nawaz Sharif’s position to be recorded by NAB, on which NAB prosecutor said to give time to read the application.
The court remarked that what is the problem in this, call Nawaz Sharif and record his statement. The lawyer took a stand that give us the questionnaire, we will give the statement, on which the NAB prosecutor said that the investigating officer should record the statement, we have no objection.
Later, the court approved the request to record the statement of Nawaz Sharif in the Tosha Khana vehicle case and directed to record the statement by November 30 and adjourned the next hearing of the case till November 30.
