Management of Liaquat University Hospital Hyderabad refused to take 2 surgical robots.

The hospital administration says that we need basic machinery, equipment and improvement of the hospital, not robots worth billions of rupees.

The administration of Liaquat University Hospital Hyderabad has written a letter to the Health Department.

Liaquat University Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Shahid Junejo wrote in the letter that we were given more than 2 billion rupees to buy 2 robots, we have absolutely no need for surgical robots.

He said that Liaquat University Hospital needs CT scan, MRI, X-ray and many other equipments, we need ventilators and dialysis machines and their equipment for our patients.

Dr. Shahid Junejo says that Liaquat University Hospital does not have trained medical staff to operate robots, fully supports the position of Sindh’s caretaker health minister regarding robots.

They also say that they are against making the surgery done for 50 thousand rupees at 5 lakh rupees.
