Mobile Health Unit established in North Waziristan with the support of Pakistan Army

Peshawar: MCPL has established four mobile health units in North Waziristan with the support of Pakistan Army.

Mobile health units developed under CSR are equipped with lab test system, ECG, ultrasound and blood pressure systems for the convenience of patients.

A team of specialist doctors including lady doctors and paramedical staff are present for better treatment of patients.

Health units have been started today in Gurdai and Shiva in North Waziristan which will be extended to other areas. The aim of the health units is to provide quality and essential medical facilities to the residents of the area at their doorstep.

Health units have so far provided medical facilities to a total of 402 patients, including 129 men, 77 women and 96 children. Apart from treatment, people are given free medicines along with prevention and preventive measures against various diseases.

The leaders of the area thanked Pakistan Army and MCPL for the establishment of health units.
