Lahore: The police arrested more than 50 people involved in the May 9 tragedy by cracking down throughout the night.
According to the police, the arrested persons are involved in the attacks on Jinnah House and other sensitive facilities on May 9. According to the newly prepared lists, the workers were arrested.
In order to arrest the accused, raids were conducted on various residences including houses. Legal action is being taken after obtaining the information of the arrested persons.
Police explained that the names of a journalist and a policeman who were at the scene on May 9 to perform professional duties were also included in the lists. Names of duty officers and journalists will be removed from the list.
