A Congo virus advisory has been issued to hospitals and District Health Offices (DHOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
According to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department, all hospitals will immediately report to the department in case of suspected patients and will ensure the establishment of a separate isolation ward for Congolese patients.
According to the advisory of the health department, the hospital staff and patients will be informed about the safety measures, the duties of the trained staff will be assigned in the medical wards.
In the advisory of the health department, it has been said that the situation regarding Congo in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is under control, no new case of Congo has been reported during the last 3 months.
According to the Health Department, 15 cases were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa till August.
