Islamabad: In the Senate of Pakistan, a resolution was passed unanimously to express solidarity with Palestine and to condemn Israeli aggression.
During the meeting, Senator Salim Mandwiwala expressed his views and said that Islamic countries are not able to do anything for Palestine. Even Turkey is not able to deliver even a bottle of water to Gaza. Pakistan also cannot do anything except talk.
He said that Pakistan seems to be supporting Israel instead of Palestine. Pakistan is a nuclear power. A very important role can be played. I feel ashamed to call myself a Muslim. No Muslim can do anything as an individual.
In the meeting, Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani expressed his views and said that there is no example of the way children are being martyred in Palestine. According to a UNICEF official, Gaza is presenting the scene of a graveyard.
