New Delhi: In an unusual incident in India, a father along with Band Baje arrives to bring a divorced daughter back home.
According to Indian media, a video of Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand state, went viral last week, in which a woman can be seen carrying her belongings in suitcases and reaching her house with a band boy.
Such a scene is usually seen when the daughter is sent away but in this video the case is completely different. The woman who comes home with the band baje has left her husband’s house forever and returned to her parents’ house.
The girl’s father, Prem Gupta, decided to bring her back from her in-laws along with her daughter’s decision to get a divorce, and he put it into practice and made a video that went viral to encourage other parents.
Speaking to BBC, the divorced woman Sakshi Gupta said that I am a fashion designer and due to some unavoidable circumstances I had to get a divorce. When I informed my parents about this decision, they were surprisingly enthusiastic.
The girl’s father, Prem Gupta, said that the daughter’s marriage was conducted with much fanfare and a lot of money was also spent, but when we saw that all efforts to conduct the marriage failed and that our daughter had no fault in it, we supported his daughter.
Sakshi Gupta continued her father’s story and said that Abu chose a special day to bring me back. That day I was packing my belongings when I heard the sound of the band.
Sakshi Gupta said that I thought there would be a procession because today is also a special day, but when I saw it, my father came to pick me up with a band. This video went viral and many girls contacted me to share their problems and ask for advice.
