Tel Aviv: Israel rejected the UN General Assembly’s call for a cease-fire in Gaza and announced the start of the second phase of the war.
Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the occupying Zionist state, said in a press conference in Tel Aviv on Saturday that the second phase of the war against Hamas has begun with the entry of more ground forces into Gaza between Friday and Saturday. Israel’s war aims are clear, including the release of hostages and the complete elimination of Hamas.
Netanyahu says that the decision to launch ground operations was made unanimously by both the War and Security Cabinets, our commanders and soldiers fighting in enemy territory know that the nation and leadership stand behind them. Israel’s ground operation in Gaza will be a “long and difficult” war.

Netanyahu confirmed that Israeli forces are deployed throughout the Gaza Strip. Pamphlets have been dropped on Gaza City warning residents that the area is now a “battlefield” and to leave for southern Gaza.
On the Turkish President’s accusation of war crimes, the Israeli Prime Minister, without naming him, said, “Don’t accuse us of war crimes.” If you think you can accuse our soldiers of war crimes, that is hypocrisy, we are the most moral army in the world. The Israeli army is taking precautions to protect civilians while Hamas uses them as human shields.

It should be noted that Israel’s bombardment of Gaza, which has been ongoing since October 7, intensified on Friday night, after which the internet service there has also been completely shut down. The citizens of Gaza are cut off from the outside world. Accurate reports of casualties from the Israeli bombing could not be revealed. The Hamas-run Ministry of Health in Gaza says that more than 7,600 people have been martyred so far in the Israeli bombardment.
