Karachi: Former player of Indian cricket team Harbhajan Singh has declared the DRS system as the reason for Pakistan’s defeat against South Africa.
Former Indian player Harbhajan Singh has openly criticized the DRS system and poor umpiring, citing it as the reason for Pakistan’s defeat.
He wrote at the end of the sensational 26th World Cup match between Pakistan and South Africa that ‘Pakistan lost due to bad umpiring and bad rules, ICC should change these rules’.

He said that ‘if the ball was hitting the wicket, it does not matter what the umpire has decided, if so, then what is the use of technology?
It should be noted that in the 46th over, the African player Tabrez was LBW on Haris Rauf’s ball, which was declared as not out by the on-field umpire, but after Pakistan’s review, it was found that the ball was hitting the wicket directly, but the third umpire called it on. Upheld the decision of the field umpire and declared Tabriz Shamsi not out.

If Tabriz Shamsi was dismissed in the 46th over, Pakistan would have won the match.
