A central control room has been set up in KP to deal with illegal residents

Peshawar: A Central Control Room has been set up in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Home Department regarding illegal residents.

According to the statement, police, NADRA, FIA, Commissioner of Afghan Refugees, passport and security forces officials will perform duty in the control room.

The control room will be operational 24 hours from October 28 to monitor the return and arrangements of Afghan refugees.

It should be noted that the government of Pakistan has instructed all illegal residents, including Afghan refugees, to leave the country by October 31, 2023.
