Islamabad: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif appeared in the Accountability Court, where his bail was granted in the Tosha Khana case.
On the occasion of the arrival of PML-N leader and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in court, party president Shahbaz Sharif, League leader Azam Nazir Tarar, Maryam Nawaz, Maryam Aurangzeb, Khawaja Saad Rafiq and others were present along with a large number of workers.
On the arrival of Nawaz Sharif, the door of the court room was closed due to the large number of workers and crowd of people. Nawaz Sharif stood on the seat and made his appearance. Strict security arrangements were made outside the court on this occasion. A heavy contingent of police and law enforcement officials was deployed.
After the appearance, the court allowed Nawaz Sharif to leave, after which the former prime minister left for the Islamabad High Court. After the appearance of Nawaz Sharif in the Tosha Khana reference, the lawyers started giving arguments, on which the court granted Nawaz Sharif’s bail and invalidated the permanent arrest warrant.

On November 20, arguments were called on the application for confiscation of property
During the hearing, in the application, Nawaz Sharif was requested to be exempted from future attendance, on which Judge Muhammad Bashir said that Nawaz Sharif will have to appear for the indictment. The court ordered that the copies will be distributed at the next hearing. The court issued a notice to NAB on the request for confiscation of property and called arguments on the request for confiscation of property on November 20.
At this point, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry apologized to the court for the misbehavior, to which Judge Muhammad Basheer replied that it is fun when political people come. Later, the court adjourned the hearing till November 20.

Tight security around the courts before the arrival of Nawaz Sharif
Earlier, on the occasion of the appearance of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, the security of the courts was tightened, while the bomb disposal squad in the accountability court evacuated the room and searched it.
Before the appearance of former prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif in the Islamabad High Court, strict security arrangements were made in the court and its surroundings. As part of the security arrangements, police officers were deployed in and around the court premises.
It should be noted that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif stayed at his residence in Kashmir Point last night. The League leader was welcomed by party workers on his arrival in Murree last night.
