Karachi: FIA raided an electronic market in Sadar and recovered 250 smuggled and stolen mobile phones worth over one crore rupees.
According to the details, 2 suspects were arrested during the raid, the IMEI numbers of the smuggled and stolen mobile phones were being changed using a sophisticated software bought from abroad.
According to FIA, the data of mobile phone numbers already registered in the PTA system has also been recovered from the accused.
According to the FIA spokesman, the mobile phones being exported include phones stolen from the UK. Anti-corruption circle Karachi has registered a case against the accused and started investigation.
