Lahore: Organized Crime Unit Chowhang arrested 15 gang members of pickpockets and thieves from Sindh in Minar Pakistan Jalsa.
According to Express News, the accused have revealed during the investigation that we have a group of 40 to 45 members who have come from Sindh and our aim is to rob people.
DSP Organized Crime Unit Chowhang Farooq Asghar Awan has said that the accused used to pick the pockets of citizens from meeting places and crowded places and escaped back to the provinces. It has been revealed, the process of investigating the accused is going on.
According to the DSP, the accused were arrested with the help of professional skills, modern technology and with the help of public relations, the accused will be punished severely with the help of prosecution partnership.
DSP Chowhang and his team will be awarded certificates of appreciation by DIG Organized Crime Unit Lahore, the DIG has said that further action will be taken against the criminal elements.
