Islamabad: President Dr. Arif Alvi visited the Palestinian Embassy, where he condemned the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

President of the State Dr. Arif Alvi reached the Palestinian Embassy to express solidarity with the Palestinians who were massacred by Israel, where he said that he appealed to the international community to condemn the martyrdom of thousands of innocent people in Israeli aggression.

The President demanded an immediate ceasefire and the opening of a humanitarian corridor to deliver aid to people deprived of food, electricity and water. He met the Ambassador of Palestine Ahmed Jawad Rabi and expressed solidarity with the Palestinian brothers on behalf of the Pakistani government and people.

Dr. Arif Alvi said that Pakistan will always stand with Palestine. Pakistan will only accept a solution that is acceptable to the Palestinians. The atrocities in Palestine should be discussed in the United Nations. The Security Council should pass a resolution to stop Israeli atrocities. Such barbaric measures create more opportunities for hatred and start more wars.

He said that the OIC should raise its voice in support of Palestine. Condemn the aggression in Gaza and the ethnic discrimination of the last 30-40 years. A hospital in Gaza was bombed, killing more than 500 people. The President said that war completely destroys any possibility of peace.

The President said that walls are being erected to prevent the Palestinian people from trying to achieve a peaceful two-state solution, while such walls never stand, the people themselves tear them down. As long as the two-state solution is blocked, people will react.

The Palestinian Ambassador thanked the President of Pakistan for visiting the Embassy of Palestine in difficult times. He described the Israeli actions in Gaza as genocide of the Palestinian people. On this occasion, the President of the State also recorded his comments in the condolence book at the Palestinian Embassy. The President expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Palestinian people and the families of the Palestinians who were martyred in the brutal Israeli attacks.
