It was officially announced that cricket will be included in Los Angeles Olympics 2028.
The International Olympic Committee’s session in Mumbai approved the inclusion of cricket.
The IOC said that the organizing committee proposed to include five sports in the Olympic Games in Los Angeles, the proposal has been approved by the IOC session.
The International Olympic Committee says that cricket, baseball/softball, flag football, lacrosse and squash will be part of the 2028 Olympics.
IOC said that cricket will be played in T20 format.

Greg Barkley says the inclusion of other Olympic sports, including cricket, will be good for athletes and fans, thanks to the support of the International Olympic Committee.
