Karachi: The housekeeper along with her sister escaped from the bungalow of Pakistan People’s Party (PP) former MPA Sadia Javed in Defense Phase 6 and Derakhshan police station limits of Shahr Quaid area.
The former MPA claimed that the housemaid took away gold jewelery and cash worth around Rs 90 lakh from the bungalow, including Rs 5 lakh in cash.
Derakhshan Police registered a case of the incident and handed it over to the Investigation Police. He said that when he came to know that Fatima had come to work, she had not come and her mobile phone was switched off, which has not been contacted till now.
The police have registered a case against the housekeeper and her sister in Naveed Khan’s complaint and handed over the case investigation to the police, but the police failed to trace the accused immediately.
