Islamabad: Caretaker Federal Minister for Information Murtaza Solangi has said that Nawaz Sharif did not flee the country illegally.
Speaking to a private TV channel, Murtaza Solangi said that it is not the task of the caretaker government to give the date of the election, elections will be held on the date announced by the Election Commission.
Murtaza Solangi said that in the election environment, any party and its leadership have the freedom to give their stand on any important issue, all registered political parties have equal opportunities, equal rights of all political parties including PTI. Yes, there is no ban on PTI, Election Commission and caretaker government will ensure equal opportunities to all political parties.
He said that PTI has its own issue as to how it conducts its election campaign, political parties conduct their election campaign even in difficult situations, there is no restriction on PTI in this regard.
He said that those who give us lectures on human rights should check their records, illegal residents should leave the country voluntarily by October 31, after October 31 such illegal residents Nationals will be forcibly deported.
Murtaza Solangi further said that Nawaz Sharif’s return has nothing to do with the caretaker government, he is the leader of a major political party in Pakistan, he did not flee the country illegally.
