Karachi: Shariah Noor Jahan police arrested the nephew who demanded a ransom of 50 thousand rupees from his uncle by pretending to kidnap.

According to the details, the police had registered a case of kidnapping on the complaint of the uncle of the abducted youth, which turned out to be a drama on the part of the youth. In this regard, according to the spokesperson of District Central Police, Tariq Hussain Shah, a resident of North Nazimabad Block T, had registered a case of abduction of his nephew Mohammad Hasan in Shariah Noor Jahan police station.

According to the spokesman, Hussain Shah had given a statement to the police that his nephew had come to our grandmother’s house a month ago from Lahore to celebrate holidays and on October 2, he left the house to talk about the North Nazimabad Taqi Center, but nothing was known about him. Saka, on which the police registered a case of abduction of the youth on October 3.

According to the spokesman, the plaintiff in the case, Tariq Hussain Shah, further told the police that he received a call from Hasan’s phone number, in which he said that 4 people had kidnapped him and were demanding a ransom of Rs 50,000. Using CPLC Central’s technical support and other means, 17-year-old Muhammad Hassan was traced and taken into custody, who staged a self-imposed kidnapping to extort Rs 50,000 from his in-laws.

In the video statement given to the police, the detained youth said that he had a court marriage in Lahore and that his in-laws had borrowed some money from me, which they were asking for, while I had no job and no income. But he staged a kidnapping and asked for money while he was going back to Lahore, but because he did not have a ticket, he got off at Hyderabad.
