Rawalpindi: The hearing of the cipher leak case has started in Central Jail Adiala, for which all the lawyers are also present in the jail.
Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain is conducting the hearing in Adiala Jail Special Court. Both the accused former Prime Minister Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi are in jail.
The FIA investigation team and the prosecutor are also present in the courtroom.
Copies of the challan will be distributed to the two suspects arrested under the Official Secrets Act today. New miscellaneous applications will be filed by the accused to stop the duplicate distribution proceedings. In case of distribution of challan copy, one week time will be fixed for indictment.
Outside Adiala Jail, security arrangements are tight and security is on high alert.
