The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) delegation will arrive in Pakistan today on a 2-day visit.
According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, the IAEA delegation will be led by Rafael Mariano Grossi.
IAEA Director General will hold high level meetings with Pakistani officials.
IAEA officials will also visit specific institutions using nuclear technology, including health, agriculture, industry and power generation.
The spokesperson of the Foreign Office says that the visit of the IAEA officials will strengthen cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear technology in socio-economic development.
It should be noted that Pakistan is a founding member of IAEA since 1957.
