Lahore: Former MP of Muslim League-N, Rukhsana Kausar was caught stealing electricity.
According to the spokesperson of Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO), Rukhsana Kausar was stealing electricity from the direct supply of LESCO.
Spokesman Lesko says that a case has been registered against the accused under the provisions of electricity theft and a fine of 5 lakh 75 thousand rupees has also been imposed.
Chief Executive LESCO Engineer Shahid Haider says that action against electricity thieves will continue without discrimination and no pressure will be taken into account in this regard.
It should be noted that after the general elections of 2018, Rukhsana Kausar was elected Member of Punjab Assembly on the reserved seat for women.
