4 days time for schools to give freeship of education department

If the law is not followed, disciplinary action will be taken against the schools

Karachi: The schools education department of the Sindh government took action after the caretaker Chief Minister Sindh’s notice on the non-implementation of the Me-Freeship law for private schools.

The Directorate of Private Institutions Sindh has issued instructions to submit a report on the implementation of the 10% freeship law from private schools across the province including Karachi within 4 days.

This directive has been issued by the Directorate of Private Institutions Sindh through a circular.

According to Additional Director Private Institutions Prof. Rafia Mallah, this circular has also been issued to the chain of schools and they have also been asked to report within 4 days.

It should be noted that according to the “Compulsory and Free Education Act 2013” approved by the Sindh Assembly, all private schools are obliged to provide 10% of their enrollment freeship to deserving students. It is not happening and caretaker Chief Minister Sindh Justice (R) Maqbool Baqir took notice of this matter in a recently held meeting.

Meanwhile, according to the announcement of the Directorate of Private Institutions, private schools have been asked to follow this law and provide freeship to 10% of their students. Moreover, all regional directors of Sindh have also been instructed to Implement this law in your own region and submit a report.

According to the circular and declaration, the schools have been asked that in case of non-submission of the report, the suspension or cancellation of registration under Registration I may be followed and the registration may not be renewed on expiry. will

In addition, according to Professor Rafi Malah, five separate teams have been formed for the inspection of schools, which will inspect the schools and check the records of freeships and scholarships given there and if the law is not followed, they will be punished. Recommend disciplinary action against
