"He moved away from showbiz in search of closeness to God."

The emperor ruled the hearts of the people but now he is ruling the hearts of the same lovers by becoming an ass.

In the world of showbiz, there are countless examples in which singers and artists said goodbye to showbiz, then they got involved in a business or became involved in the service of religion, such names include Junaid Jamshed, Nimat Sarhadhi, Liaquat Major, Shah Sawar, Saeed among athletes. There are many names, including Anwar, who left their previous professions for the sake of religion and sought nearness to God.

Among these eminent personalities, there is also a name of the well-known Pashto folk singer Shahshah Bacha, who left singing at the peak of his art and went out to get closer to God. .

It was the nineties when people were entertained by the resounding voice of Shahshah Bacha everywhere, in every truck, car, market and every home. Just as Attaullah Khan Isa Khelvi’s voice feels like a burning and painful condition, Baina Shahshana Bacha also appears in the light of it.

At one time, cassettes of his songs used to be sold, as he brought a new dimension to the popular Pashto language genre of Tappe. Tapa was a very popular genre before and it is still today but Shahshah Bacha brought it to its peak, it is a fact that the poets who said “Tape” were always anonymous but Shahshah Bacha made him famous with “Tape”. The poet was also recognized.

Sheshanshah Khan aka Sheshanshah Bacha was born in 1970 to Bachagal in a middle-class farmer family in Pashtun Garhi of Nowshera.

Being the only brother of six sisters, he was very pampered. After class 7th, the education system was interrupted, so he went to work in the fields with his father, then he decided to support his father and started working for daily wages.

Worked with tractor-trolleys, shoveled loads and was content with his sweat-earned bread, then gradually got involved in the work of a mason and mastered it.

Today, he is an expert craftsman, which he is also proud of because the joy, fun and comfort of earning and eating with his own hands is not found in living in a slum or a Shesh Mahal.

At the same time, the Pashtuns started playing with the strings of the rabab, the beloved music of the Pashtuns, and at the same time, to satisfy their creative tastes, they started sitting in the mushairas under the auspices of the Pashto Literary Jirga in the village, the spirit of which was the well-known development from the same village. Favorite poet and writer was Syed Anwar.

Apart from them, Hazrat Rahim Ustad, Zulfiqar, Alamzeb Zahir, Elahi Khan Loge, Latifur Rehman Aamir often participated in these meetings. Shahshah Bacha also began to take influence from him, at that time Shahshah Bacha was making his name by reciting naats in his own village and in the villages of the suburbs.

He also performed the duties of imam, every Thursday evening in the mosque of the neighborhood, he used to recite naat in a loud speaker style. Find out the reason and appeal to them that this process should continue regularly.

At the same time, Syed Anwar discovered the hidden artist in Shahnshah Bacha and started trying to persuade him that you should sing Mera Kalam because your voice has great pain and swelling. No, no, finally the emperor agreed, but an agreement was reached with him that he would do so only on one condition that there would be only two copies of his recording, one kept with me and the other with you, and so it happened.

Through Siddiq Akbar, who was employed at PTV, a cassette containing ghazals was recorded at Riaz Studio Peshawar, which was liked by all, but after some time, Hafiz Inam Chori secretly recorded a copy for himself at New Sangam. He reached the music center Nowshera, where the owner of the music center extracted thousands of copies from it and enriched himself.

Emperor Bacha became aware of it when copies of it started selling in the market, after which the series began to gain momentum. After that, Syed recorded four or five cassettes based on Anwar’s poetry, which became extremely popular. Since Shahshah Bacha did not care about money, people used to give him whatever money they wanted, but here the problem arose that his father was angry with his son for entering the show business and Shahshah Bacha earned this money. A ban on domestication was imposed.

He was a simple person, so he did not like this art. He also kicked out the emperor Bacha from the house many times, but his being alone would have become a compulsion, so he would have allowed his son to come home, because he wanted to see his son happy in any situation, so he was forced to do so. The emperor himself made a sitting room for Bacha in the house where he was busy in Riyadh with his friends.

Shahshah Bacha continued both Rajmastri’s work and showbiz simultaneously. A man named Subhanullah from Shakarpur Shah Alam Pul was his business partner. Both would take a contract and continue the work by mutual agreement and thus the dal roti kasalsala would go on.

In response to a question, Shahshah Bacha said that in our Pakhtun society, music is liked but the people associated with this art are not liked. No one joins us in the sacrifice, which made me and my family very sad, after which my life gradually started to deteriorate because of me, my family also has to face torture.

According to him, he has recorded around 3000 audio and video cassettes, mostly including rabies, tapas and ghazals, which have broken popularity records.

Similarly, he sang numerous songs for films, although he had no experience of singing ghazals, which is a different thing, but whenever he sang, the audience gave him a certificate of appreciation. Crediting his success to his composers, he says, “My composers were more amazing than me, because they used to blend their sound with the zero-bomb of my voice so well that even I was surprised.” ‘

Emperor Bacha visited many countries where he was well received. He got a lot of respect especially in Afghanistan. He was about to go on a visit to Norway when he got permission to go on Hajj. It was in 2007, when his childhood friend Mohammad Khalil from his own village submitted a Hajj request for him, he came to know of Benazir’s martyrdom during the Hajj. After receiving the blessings of Hajj, he recorded four more cassettes, after which his interest in singing began to wane.

One day, when the same friend Khalil came to him, Shahshah Bacha mentioned his anxiety and restlessness that I do not sleep at night and I also take sleeping pills for peace, on which he said that you are Allah’s. Get out of the way. Without wasting any time, Shahshah Bacha also reached Lahore at the same time without making any arrangements with him, where it was decided to spend the night with Muhammad Khalil’s brother-in-law.

That same night, Khalil’s brother-in-law arranged for two or three pairs of clothes, a bed and other necessary items, and the next morning he left for Raiwand, from where he visited different areas to gain understanding of religion for four months. .

During this time, he decided to get rid of art music by recording as many cassettes as possible so that people would get tired of his music and did so.

During this time, the trend towards Sufi poetry increased, but before that, a couplets of reciting naats had also come to the fore.

Says, “Syed Raza Shenwari, the owner of Singer Music Center, came to me and said that due to your recitation of naat, four friends of criminals from Kohat have repented of their crimes, so you should continue this series of recitation of naat. I got more motivation and started reciting Naat-Khwaani from the heart.

He said in retrospect that he had gone to a show in Karachi where a man stopped me by putting his hand on my shoulder and pointing to his jaw said it was because of you that a person played your cassette. When I stumbled, I got angry and scuffled with him, during which the man took out a pistol and fired, blowing my jaw.

In response to a question, he said that in this art, I earned respect not money, I never sang for money but I sang for my passion and my fans. A sack full of money was showered on me in Afghanistan, but I didn’t even ask for it or ask my secretary about it, but when I quit showbiz, I gave it all away.

When the flood of 2010 came, everything was swept away in it and reached the flood plains. At the same time, a truck full of goods arrived on behalf of the elected MPA of the area, Provizhtak, and everyone gathered around him.

It is said, “I also went to this crowd, but when the goods were thrown from the truck, I started crying at the same time and begged my Lord, “Oh my Lord, save me from spreading my hands in front of anyone but myself. “

Nowadays Shahshah Bacha is seen reciting naat in various Dastarbandi ceremonies or other programs of madrasas. Apart from this, they are attached to their main work i.e. Masonry and consider the earning of Haq Halal as the greatest blessing in the world.

He has built a religious seminary for girls adjacent to his house where the girls of the area are benefiting from the Holy Quran and religious studies.

One of his sons is also a Hafiz of Quran and his daughter-in-law is also a teacher in addition to being a Hafiza of Quran, under whose supervision the administration and management of this Madrasah is being run, where girls from this village and the suburbs are also able to acquire religious knowledge. So the factory works here.

In response to a question, Shahshah Bacha said that when there was fame, people used to sit on their eyes, draw notes and what did they do. Undeterred, I found something, I felt like I had everything figured out. I got the satisfaction that I had been yearning for for years, then I decided to continue to get this rare gem by praying to my Lord.
