The Punjab Health Department says that cases of conjunctivitis have started decreasing in the province.
Health department officials have said that 1 thousand 134 cases were reported in Punjab during 24 hours, 10 thousand 269 cases of conjunctivitis were reported a day ago.
Officials say that 236 people have been affected by conjunctivitis in Lahore, 113 in Multan, 95 in Khanewal and 82 in Chiniot.
Punjab Health Department says that the number of conjunctivitis victims has reached 1 lakh 879 in 3 months.
Officials have also said that this year 77 thousand 706 people have been affected in Bahawalpur, 31 thousand 41 people in Faisalabad, while 28 thousand 112 people in Sheikhupura and 23 thousand 869 people have been affected by conjunctivitis in Lahore.
