The police of Peshawar, Nowshera and Mardan arrested two suspects in a joint operation after rescuing a businessman kidnapped for a ransom of five lakh dollars.
According to details, businessman Haji Ikram was abducted from Sadar area of Peshawar by unknown persons after which they demanded a ransom of 500,000 dollars from his family for his release.
The family informed the police about Haji Ikram’s kidnapping and also provided the police with the number from which the ransom was called. Peshawar Police continued the investigation. According to CCPO Peshawar, the police conducted a joint operation in Nowshera on the basis of intelligence and recovered the businessman.
The police of Nowshera and Mardan also took part in this operation, as a result of which two kidnappers have also been arrested.
