Peshawar; Friends involved in the murder of eunuchs arrested

Peshawar: The mystery of the blind murder case of the abandoned body of eunuchs found on the banks of the Indus River in Khairabad has been solved.

The killer turned out to be an Afghan friend who killed others for befriending them. After killing him in Peshawar, the body was taken to the river at Khairabad.

Arshad Ahmed SDPO Akora Circle, Ehsan Shah SDP and Risalpur Circle while giving a press briefing to the journalists at the Akora police station said that on 20-09-2023, the Khairabad Police Station received information that the Indus River was overflowing at Khairabad. The abandoned body is lying on the side of which the local police shifted to the hospital for post-mortem, where she was identified as Khawajsara Laeeq alias Malala, resident of Kohat, Peshawar.

Case No. 891 dated 20-09-2023 of the murder of the deceased was registered in Crime 302 Police Station Akora Khattak on the complaint of Jawad aka Miss Kohat, the accomplice of the deceased.

District Police Officer Nasir Mahmood constituted a joint investigation team comprising Arshad Ahmed DSP Akora, Ehsan Shah DSP Cantt and Waqas Yusuf SHO Akora and handed over the task of ensuring the arrest of the accused/accused.

The investigation team started investigating the case from different angles, the case was no less than a challenge for the police. The investigation team, using modern technology, gained access to the accused and arrested the accused Hamid son of Sher Zamin, resident of Afghanistan, Peshawar Hazar Khawani. The accused belongs to Afghanistan and deals in junk.

During the preliminary investigation, the accused confessed to the crime and spilled everything. The accused and the victim had friendly relations since 2019.

According to the accused, now the deceased had started friendship with someone else which I felt sorry for, forbade him many times, then on 20th in Hayatabad, he had a repeat of the same thing and during the repeat, he shot and killed him. After closing the body in a sack, he told the taxi driver that he was taking sacred documents to the river under pretense and threw the body near the Indus River at Khairabad. Further investigation is ongoing with the accused.

In light of the special orders of Inspector General of Police Akhtar Hayat Khan, every possible effort is being made to ensure the safety of eunuchs. The problems of transgenders are being solved on priority basis in the police stations.
