The emerging actor and singer of Pakistani drama industry, Samar Jafri, has revealed about not getting work in the showbiz industry for 11 years.

Actor Samar Abbas Jafari, who played the role of a young bridegroom, father and head of the house ‘Fakher’ in the private TV drama serial ‘My Re’, recently gave an interview to a magazine.

The 19-year-old actor told ‘Fuchsia Magazine’ during an interview that no one in his family is related to the showbiz industry, he is the first member of his family to adopt the showbiz industry as a profession.

The actor said that he had to work hard to enter the showbiz industry, once he had made up his mind that he was not made for this field and would not be able to work in it.

The actor spoke about the difficulties he faced early in his career and his tall, fair complexion, saying, “I used to get fired on the grounds that I was too fair, too tall or too thin.”

He further said during the interview that he used to wait for hours on the set with the script in hand, but at the end he was told that another boy had been given the role in his place.
