Islamabad: Custodian Federal Minister for Privatization Fawad Hasan Fawad said that the privatization of electricity distribution companies is a priority sector of the Ministry of Privatization.
Custodian Federal Minister for Privatization Fawad Hasan Fawad while talking to Middle East Regional Director of International Finance Corporation (IFC) Khawaja Aftab Ahmed said that the privatization of electricity distribution companies is a priority sector of the Ministry of Privatization.
Khawaja Aftab along with his team met Fawad Hasan Fawad, bilateral cooperation in important sectors was discussed, important developments in energy sectors were discussed.
Fawad Hasan Fawad said the government is committed to promote economic growth and sustainability through privatization of state-owned enterprises. The IFC also expressed support for the government’s plan to privatize discotheques.
Apart from this, caretaker Privatization Minister Fawad Hasan Fawad handed over the mutation deed of FBR land in Faisalabad to the successful buyer.
