YouTube blocks ads for British comedian over sexual assault allegations

London: Leading video streaming service YouTube has suspended ads on British comedian Russell’s videos.

YouTube took this step after the actor was accused of sexually assaulting women and has more than 6 million subscribers on his channel.

The video platform ban will also apply to all Russell Brand accounts and channels that they operate.

According to British media, the investigation revealed that the brand was accused by four women of sexual abuse, including indecency, between 2006 and 2013, while the 48-year-old YouTuber has denied the allegation of having sex without consent.

According to police, they have received a new allegation of sexual assault in 2003, while Russell Brand’s live shows have been canceled following the new allegations.
