Karachi: The court ordered the release of accused Daniya Shah, who was arrested on the charge of viral video of late Aamir Liaquat, TV host and Member of National Assembly.
According to the report, a single bench consisting of Justice Umar Sial gave its decision on Daniya Shah’s bail plea in the case of popular TV anchor Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s viral videos.
The court granted bail to Dania Shah in the case related to viral videos of famous TV anchor personality Aamir Liaquat Hussain and ordered her release from jail.
Lawyer Safai Liaqat Gabol Advocate had stated that the numbers from which the videos are mentioned to be viral are not Dania’s. Maqsood cameraman’s name is not in the challan. These are the things on the basis of which Daniya Shah was sent to jail. This case is weak, Daniya should be granted bail.
The court has ordered the accused Daniya Shah, who was arrested on the complaint of Dr. Aamir Liaquat’s daughter Duay Zahra, to deposit a bond of two lakh rupees.
On February 8, Justice Umar Syal of the Sindh High Court had reserved the decision on the bail application of Daniya Shah after the arguments of the parties were completed.
It should be remembered that Dania Shah was arrested from Lodhran and transferred to Karachi in December 2022 on the complaint of praying to Zahra. Daniya Shah was accused of making Aamir Liaquat’s indecent videos and making them go viral.
