Federal Minister for Religious Affairs has reached the suspects involved in the killing of clerics

Karachi: Caretaker Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Aneeq Ahmed has said that the killing and attacks of clerics is a very important issue.

He expressed these views while talking to the media after meeting former Rawit Hilal Committee Chairman Mufti Muneebur Rahman in Karachi on Saturday.

The Caretaker Federal Minister said that the problems faced by the country will gradually decrease, our scholars think this is a good thing. Ulama is requested to take the nation out of despair. The primary responsibility of the government is to solve the problems of the people.

He said that the effects of inflation also affect us. But good days will come, the work has already begun. The Federal Minister of Religious Affairs further said that Mufti Muneebur Rehman has spoken about social media.

He said that blasphemy is unacceptable, blasphemous content that is coming on social media will be stopped. I will discuss this in the cabinet and immediate action will be taken, our direction is right and we are moving forward.

Aneeq Ahmed said that the killing and attack of clerics is a very important issue and the investigation agencies are working on it which has reached far and we have reached the killers whose names will be brought before the public soon.

On this occasion, Mufti Muneebur Rahman said that he thanked Aneeq Ahmed for his arrival, and discussed with him the problems faced by the people. We have demanded that the laws of insults that are happening on social media should be amended. Social media has been suggested to be controlled in this regard.

Mufti Muneebur Rahman further said that the blasphemy law was passed by the Parliament. It went to the President and did not sign it. It should also become a law by itself under the same formula. Just as the Official Secrets Act was not signed into law by the President. Custodian Federal Minister Aneeq Ahmed also visited Jamia Rashid and met with Ulama Ikram and discussed inter-faith harmony.
