Crackdown against illegal resident foreigners in Islamabad

Islamabad: On the orders of Caretaker Federal Interior Minister Sarfaraz Bugti, a crackdown on illegal residents of Islamabad has started.

According to the details, the police detained 25 foreigners from different areas of Islamabad and so far 57 illegal foreigners have been transferred to Adiala Jail under 14 Foreign Acts.

In this context, it was informed that arrangements are being made to send the detained foreigners to their country, stay in Pakistan is possible only according to the laws of the country, action should also be taken against Pakistanis who support illegal residents. It is a crime to provide assistance to illegal residents in the form of housing, financial and employment.
