The local court of Islamabad issued a non-bailable warrant for the wife of the slain journalist in the Arshad Sharif murder case.
According to Express News, the Arshad Sharif murder case was heard in the District and Sessions Court and the Judicial Magistrate issued a non-bailable warrant to Soumya Arshad, the wife of the martyred journalist, for her continued absence.
According to the Judicial Magistrate, Arshad Sharif’s wife’s warrant was issued for non-appearance despite continuous summons. Apart from this, the judicial magistrate also issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for producer Ali Usman.

It should be noted that Arshad Sharif was one of the prominent journalists of Pakistan, who went into self-imposed exile and then went to Kenya from Dubai where he was shot and martyred on October 23.
The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court took suo motu notice on the Arshad Sharif murder case and the case is under hearing in the Supreme Court.
