The central leader of Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Defense Minister Pervez Khattak met former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi in which The political situation and elections of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were discussed.
During the meeting, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said that there is no justification for delaying the election date after the court decision, the judiciary stands with the supremacy of the constitution, and will not allow anyone to violate the constitution.
Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said that the Election Commission should fulfill its responsibility and release the election schedule immediately, the Governor and the Election Commission should stop playing football on the issue of history, the nation is seeing how PDM is afraid of the election.
Former Defense Minister Pervez Khattak said that the popularity of Imran Khan has made the rulers sleepless. It is the constitutional responsibility of the Election Commission and Governors to schedule elections.
Parvez Khattak said that the court decision has come, now no attempt to run away from the election will succeed. Retaliation and lawsuits cannot stop the path of Tehreek-e-Insaf.
