Islamabad: The caretaker government has issued a notice to increase the EOBI pension, which will be effective from the month of July.
Jawad Sohrab, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Manpower, issued a notification on social media site X and said that the pension amount has been increased from 8500 to 10 thousand rupees after a 17% increase from July 2023.

The notification states that the arrears of July and August will be paid to the pensioners along with September.
The Special Assistant wrote that the increase in pension is a small but valuable increase for millions of pensioners across the country.
