Islamabad: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has issued a decision to increase the production tariff of hydropower.
According to Nepra, the average production tariff of hydropower has been increased from Rs 3 85 paise to Rs 4 96 paise per unit.
NEPRA has sent the decision to increase the tariff on the request of WAPDA to the government. Apart from this, NEPRA has also ordered to conduct capacity test of WAPDA’s hydroelectric stations.
